Last year The Butcher’s Guild was thrilled to be included in this event and now it’s time for an encore. Located at beautiful Slow Food Farms; this event is delicious, fun and for a good cause. Sponsored by Avedano’s in partnership with Soul Food Farm and Slow Food Solano, this second annual event will feature Butchers and Bay Area chefs coming together to share their talents and experience. The event is a fundraiser for Slow Food Solano’s school gardens project, the Farmer-Veteran-Coalition and Gleason Ranch.
Join us Oct. 15th for this amazing afternoon from 1 – 5 P.M. when a side of aged Agricola Grass-fed beef will be broken down by skilled butchers into American and Italian cuts. The event will culminate with a drawing to distribute all the cuts to those attending.
The day’s offerings include a bounteous spread of beautiful, delicious food, artisan micro brews to indulge in, top Bay Area chefs cooking and sharing their passion for quality ingredients in creative recipes, and butchers demonstrating the different styles of cuts. In addition, [BG member] John Fink of The Whole Beast will be grilling Soul Food Farm chickens and talking about open fire cooking. In short – a day of amazing food and good company!
