James Beard Awards Finalists Announced

The finalists for the James Beard Awards were released this month and we were thrilled to see three of our members made the cut!

Established in 1990, the James Beard Foundation Awards recognize culinary professionals for excellence and achievement in their fields and continue to emphasize the Foundation’s mission: to celebrate, preserve, and nurture America’s culinary heritage and diversity. The winners won’t be announced until May, but the following four chefs are already winners in our eyes:

Duking it out for Best Chef in the Pacific, we have San Francisco’s Chris Cosentino of Incanto fame. Take a peak at what Chris has been up to on his website Offalgood.com

In the Northeast corner, there is the talented duo, and Farmstead/La Laiterie creators, Matt and Kate Jennings from Providence.

And, finally, representing the Southeast bracket is Charleston’s Cypress Chef Craig Deihl. Drool over his beautiful food at TheRealDeihlChef.com
