The Butcher & Larder proudly present famed author Michael Ruhlman for a book signing on October 11th from 8pm – 9pm. Michael Ruhlman has been a huge form of inspiration for the owners of The Butcher & Larder, Rob and Allie Levitt which has prompted them to offer a lifetime opportunity for other Ruhlman fans in addition to the book signing. In Ruhlman’s new book, Twenty, he explains an ‘a-ha’ moment that occurred to him while studying at the Culinary Institute of America. Relate your ‘a-ha’ moment involving a cooking technique or ingredient in a tweet (@butcherandlarder) and you may be chosen to be one of only 20 winners selected to hang out at The Butcher & Larder with Rob and Michael Ruhlman while they make sausage and masterfully create the sausage and escarole soup recipe published in Twenty. The “sausage-making party with Ruhlmann” will take place from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 11th, then followed by the open book signing.
